Aged mirrors

Collector piece

Aged mirrors

Java Design Furniture's aged mirror: a hand-patinated mercury where every sheet becomes a living material, never quite the same twice. Available as bespoke wall panels, splashbacks and objects, it dresses residential interiors and hospitality projects alike with a deep, shifting light.

A living material

The principle

A living material

The mirror sheet is oxidised and patinated by hand: speckles, clouds, flecks. Laid as butt-jointed panels, it covers a whole wall in a single sweep, reflecting light and city without ever returning them identically. Every wall is a unique piece.

Six patinas

The palette

Six finishes with a character of their own, from warm gold to deep green. Each patina comes on wall panels, splashbacks and objects — further shades on request.

Objects & furniture

From wall to object

The same material is shaped into furniture and objects: nesting tables, consoles, trays, lighting. Here, a set of nesting tables in gold aged mirror, set in a brass frame — a piece of character at the heart of the living room.
