Bespoke design

For 20 years, Java Design Furniture has done more than produce: our studio draws and develops your bespoke furniture, from the first sketch to the series. Technical support, 3D modelling, in-situ visualisation and complete fit-out — we give shape to your most singular projects.

A single line of wood

The intention

A single line of wood

On the ORA chair, the back, the armrest and the leg form one continuous gesture: no visible joint, no break — the junction is carved from the solid. This is the demand our studio applies to every bespoke piece we draw.

Our method

Four stages

End-to-end support, designed to secure every decision before production.

I

Technical support

From feasibility to the choice of materials and finishes, we frame every project with you.

II

3D modelling

Each piece is modelled and dimensioned in 3D before any production — no surprises.

III

In-situ visualisation

The furniture is set into your space to validate proportions, materials and atmosphere.

IV

Fit-out

From a single piece to the complete fit-out of a space, a coherent whole, from furniture to finishes.

Example — ORA

From sketch to setting

The ORA chair illustrates our approach: from the first line drawn by hand to the installed piece, every stage is mastered in-house.

Sketch & research

01 · Sketch

Sketch & research

The same line, always in motion: the balance between the thrust of the leg and the curve of the back.

From plan to volume

02 · 3D modelling

From plan to volume

Each piece is modelled and dimensioned in 3D — the render confirms the proportions before production.

In its setting

03 · In situ

In its setting

The piece set into a contemporary interior: proportions, materials and light validated.

Three woods, three textiles, one leather

Materials & finishes

Three woods, three textiles, one leather

The ORA reference model is shown in natural teak with a textured-fabric seat. Matte walnut, smoked oak, linen, bouclé or cognac leather: each finish is offered from the sample set, to suit your project.
